Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about playing, saving progress, and using WooMoa on the web.
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can start as a guest from the home page. Guest progress is tied to your browser device id until you link Google or a passkey.
Which languages are supported?
Available pairs depend on locales enabled on the server. Open the home page — the dropdown lists every active source and target language.
What are hearts and coins?
Hearts limit how many mistakes you can make in a session; when you run out, you wait for regeneration or spend coins to continue. Coins are earned mainly from correct answers and spent on hearts or hints.
What are hints?
After enough practice on a question, you may use a hint to reveal the answer. Hints are limited; you can buy more with coins when the shop rules allow.
Can I use WooMoa on my phone?
Yes — the website is mobile-friendly. Native Android and iOS apps are in testing; see the Download page for status.
How is my data handled?
We publish a Privacy Policy and, for users in Türkiye, a KVKK notice. Account linking uses industry-standard providers (Google, passkeys) and secure tokens.
Why was I asked to complete a security check?
On some networks WooMoa uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce abuse. Complete the check on the home page once and continue playing.
I signed in with Google but lost guest progress — why?
If the Google email already belonged to an existing account, WooMoa signs you into that account instead of merging guest data. This protects users from accidental overwrites.
